HAPPY EASTER!
There is something so exciting about Easter being right around the corner. I think it has something to do with the simple fact that Easter means Spring is here too! I can’t wait for the warm sun to be here, and much-needed beach days with sun-kissed skin. I’m going home to West Palm to spend the weekend with my sister and my two beautiful nieces, lots of food, lounging and easter egg hunts are in store for me!

Last month I showed you a couple sneak peek shots Sarah DeShaw took of me for my style posts. Today is the first look into those, and these are the first concept. Lately Stephen and I have been making trips to Orlando to see various bands play, and we discovered a little gem while we were there. Anna Bond has her stationary boutique / design studio called Rifle Paper Co. in Winter Park, FL. and I haven’t been able to keep away from it. Every time I go in I get at least two things! It’s soooo addicting, even he likes it. Yes! You guessed it, the card I’m holding is from Rifle.
If you haven’t notice I laugh a lot, but hey what can I say, Sarah is pretty funny.

DREAMING OF BOHO SPRING.
Recently a good friend of mine Jennie ( model above), came in town from Dallas, Texas. I got the chance to… as she puts it ” capture her soul.” Jennie is super out-going and has a great sense of humor so we had a blast shooting this. It was planned at some point but with our personalities it turned into a spur of the moment kind of day. We drove around in circles looking for the perfect background. We weren’t sure what we were looking for, we just knew it was it when we saw it. I’ve been daydreaming of spring so when we saw this beautiful flower bush we immediately came to a halting stop, it was perfect. But let’s not forget it was freezing outside, to us Floridian’s anyways… P.S.- Isn’t she gorgeous?

MY FIRST STYLE POST
I had the wonderful opportunity to work with a very talented photographer Sarah DeShaw to capture some photos of myself. Sarah has been so sweet and generous and has blown me away with the results! I created a mood board and showed her things I liked and these portraits turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I feel like I can be an awkward person socially, especially when the spot light is focused on me. She made me so incredibly comfortable and really brought out my personality.There are so many great ones it was so hard to narrow it down. I created this layout for my “About” section of my blog.What do you think? Hope you enjoy it! More soon!

I can sit for hours and look at dribbble. There are so many talented designers!
